I am an experienced and licensed massage therapist who with a speciality in fixing issues dealing with migraines, carpel tunnel, neck, back, and should pain, numbness in the fingers or legs/feet. I feel that massage should be relaxing, but should also affect the muscle and actually offer improvement to your pain, stress, or range of motion issues. There is no need to cause great pain to help with pain. A massage can (and should) be firm (or deep) without causing undue discomfort to the client.
